February Business Spotlight

February brings 10 years of service to local communities and surrounding areas. Valley Professionals Community Health Center first opened their doors in 2008, and they have been expanding ever since. The first health center was created through a grant which identified the significant need and limited access of available health care services for area residents. Valley Professionals Community Health Center now operates six health centers along with a mobile health center throughout Vermillion, Montgomery, Parke, and Vigo Counties. A federally qualified health center and a 501 c3 nonprofit organization, Valley Professionals operates through a governing board and a health center staff. With over 150 employees, the staff at Valley Professionals is the key to organization in delivering quality services to the patients and community members. Their service for all-inclusive health care helps create partnerships between patients and their families, and the patients’ primary care provider and health care team. The goal of Valley Professionals Community Health Center is to continue creating healthier communities by establishing services in areas with limited health care access, as well as increasing their level of comprehensive care such as through specialty services. Current services offered include primary medical care, behavioral health, dental and patient resource services. Valley Professionals continues to identify potential services or needs that would impact and provide enhanced care for their clients. The Clinics are open Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with After-Hours Clinic Monday – Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. A Saturday Clinic is also available in Clinton from 9am until 1pm. On behalf of the Vermillion County Chamber of Commerce, congratulations to Valley Professionals Community Health Center on your success in the community so far. We look forward to watching your services continue to progress.
