Jack Gilfoy, the mayor of Clinton was the Greater Clinton Chamber of Commerce's guest speaker today. Mayor Gilfoy spoke about projects around the city including the recent Safe Route to School project, the Riverfront Park project, and storm work. He also explained potential upcoming projects that the city is planning including a water project and improvements to Sportland Park. Mayor Gilfoy explained grants that the city is looking into for various updates around town. He also said there have been several meeting with people interesting in purchasing city property for new businesses/establishments in the community.
