Scott Oil Inc. started their business in 1942 serving Vermillion and surrounding counties with gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel fuel. In 1957, propane gas was added to the operation. Brett Taylor, a representative from Junior Achievement (JA) in the Wabash Valley was the March guest speaker. Mr. Taylor spoke about the JA in the community and how it works. JA is a program created for kids in the community to learn about and prepare young adults for work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
